at the edge of space

this is my space on internet for exploration.
this is where i catalog my thoughts, things i’m learning, or anything worthwhile i’ve found during surfing.
there’s no plan to make this tidy or complete. i’m more interested in following curiosity than finishing ideas.
hope

what can i know? what should i do? what may i hope?
hope is not optimism about outcomes but the rational permission to act when guarantees are not there. optimism is passive and fragile, whereas hope is active, resilient and often thrives precisely when optimism fails.
why i prefer solitude

an excerpt from henry thoreau’s walden
i went to the woods because i wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if i could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when i came to die, discover that i had not lived
commemoration

this space is dedicated to laika. she’s a reminder that exploration isn’t just wonder and progress, but also cost, care, and responsibility.
if something here is useful or interesting to you, i’m glad. if not, feel free to drift on.
childhood memory

i still remember watching curiosity land on august 5, 2012, glued to jpl’s live feed. it stayed with me ever since and sparked my interest in stem.

i know of no better life purpose than to perish in attempting the great and the impossible. friedrich nietzsche
